They are fully featured with all normal current account facilities such as direct debits/standing orders, telephone/Internet banking, branch banking, etc. They do not come with an overdraft facility and the account has to run in credit.

There is a choice of a debit or cashcard with these bank accounts. ID requirements are 2 forms, one of which must show your current address and another with your signature on.
